BeAnywhere launches new beta version 2011-02-25 BeAnywhere launched a new beta version of BeAnywhere Support Express, the professional solution that allows technicians to give support to their clients remotely. As usual, each new iteration of this Software-as-a-Service platform comes with new features and tweaks based on the feedback of the community of BeAnywhere users.
This new version gives technicians the chance to send the customer a report at the end of each session. This report will be in PDF format and will include information about the tasks performed during the support access as well as the chat log and the link to the video record of the support session.
The speed of the protocol was also increased, with performance enhancements reflected on the starting of sessions.
But there are more news coming soon: BeAnywhere Support Express will have an advanced log exporting, through which a log file will be sent to a URL with all the information about the access at the end of each session.
Another coming feature will be an improved reliability and usability of the reboot and reconnect command. The customer can decided that no credentials will be asked when the system is restarted.
